Muhammara
Blend these ingredients into a smooth paste:
- 2 roasted red bell peppers or 1 jar TJs roasted red bell peppers
- 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
- 1/4 lb shelled toasted walnuts
- 1 garlic clove roughly chopped
- 2 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sumac
- 1/2 tsp salt
- (optional) 1 tsp Aleppo pepper (I have omitted since I don't have this)
- (optional) 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
