Pesto
Mushroom pesto
Ingredients
- 18 oz mushrooms, roasted at 450 for 30 minutes (no oil)
- 60g (1/4 cup) olive oil
- 5 g salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Blend together until smooth. Tops 3 10" cast iron skillet pizzas.
Basil pesto

1/3 c toasted almond
1.5 cups Basil leaves
1/4 c nutritional yeast
1 + 1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup olive oil
ground pepper
4 cloves garlic
Prep ahead of time
- (Nothing. Entire recipe can be made ahead of time)
Directions
- Add all ingredients to food processor and blend until smooth.
