Camp (camping) meals
Note: if we ever go the Dutch oven or iron skillet route, this lodge tool keeps it out of the coals so the coals still get air
Hot
- Foil packet / stick meals
- Sweet potato, black beans, zucchini, mango salsa
- Loaded baked potato with broccoli, avocado, cherry tomato, baked beans or tofu, cheddar cheese
- Hot dogs, pickles, campfire veggies
- Carrot dog recipe , second from love and lemons, third with tofu
- Campfire bannock as pigs in blanket bun
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp oil (you could use olive, canola, coconut, lard, butter – I usually use either butter or olive oil)
- 1 cup water (actually a lot less)
- Protein pasta (cooked at home)
- Breakfast brownie in orange peel
